All our featured Treatment centres abroad are staffed by British, American, Australian and South African Counsellors, Therapists and Medical staff. We have been able to get to know them personally and we are enthusiastic about their high standards of professionalism, experience and training. 

CAPE TOWN Cape Town is also 12 step treatment but is around £5500 for 4 weeks. It also has an Adult Psychiatric Unit and an Adolescent Unit. With highly trained and efficient staff; Rebekah & I have both visited and we have referred several people here with excellent results. They also have half-way house facility for those who require a longer stay.

During our years of referring patients for rehabilitation, we have found that the cost of Addiction Treatment / Rehab in the UK to have increased beyond many people's budget while overseas recovery treatment is comparatively affordable with far higher standard of comfort and facilities; the expense is also considerably less than in the UK. 

We have been referring clients for in-patient addiction treatment abroad as well as in the UK for both 12-step and non 12 step rehabilitation Treatment. 

Whilst treatment abroad makes sense financially, once a person is away from home it is far less likely for them to appear back home at your door having absconded or discharged early. ( A fairly common occurrence in Rehab.) 

Once the treatment / rehab begin, families need time to recuperate from a long period of extreme high stress. When the Addict is in Treatment abroad the family finds it easier to relax and our practice offers help, support and education for families.

SPAIN   'Run by US qualified staff, 8 bed rehab in Marbella, Spain, follows the 12 steps approach with 'family work'  being pivotal part of the treatment.  Using Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and EMDR for treating addictions, trauma, depression and anxiety.  It is €2,940 Euros per week (between 6 and 12 weeks stay).  Very nice family size, shared rooms overlooking pool.'

CHAPERONE:  
There are times when a patient needs accompanying to treatment either in this country or overseas and occasionally a chaperone on return. Family members are not always best qualified to accompany them. In these cases Rebekah and I travel frequently with our clients to ensure their safe arrival at their clinic of choice.
