Chaperone Services UK & International

When an addict or alcoholic travels to treatment, either to some other part of the country or some other part of the globe, it is not always wise for the person to travel alone or to have a family member travel with them. A drunk can be very difficult to manage on a plane and can often be at risk of absconding, thereby delaying attendance at treatment or aborting altogether until some unseen time in the future. Following an intervention, the intended patient will need to be chaperoned from the place of intervention to the treatment centre.

This may be this addicts last chance at getting help or it may be the families last gasp attempt at getting their son, daughter, mum, dad etc to help;  a Chaperone, although expensive, can be the added assurance that you need to ensure your family member gets to the help that he needs.

Returning home from abroad from treatment can be a very vulnerable time for the newly recovering alcoholic or addict. The temptation to drink at the airport or on the plane can be too much for some. A Chaperone can help prevent any early travel related relapse.

At The Rhind Practice, we personally escort our patients to treatment centres around the country and around the globe. As well as a personal qualified chaperone we have a limousine driven by a recovered ex alcoholic to ensure a smooth journey to the nearest airport or anywhere in the UK and we have direct access to Private air transport and our own pilot when appropriate. When travelling by schedule long haul flights our seats are always business class, this gives the patients enough room and comfort so we can manage their care appropriately and they can sleep for the most part throughout the flight.

  Testimonials

After I had made a number of unsuccessful attempts with other therapists to control my alcoholism I was recommended to Alistair & Rebekah Rhind. Their approach was innovative and powerful and they new exactly how to approach my particular problem and sort it out. I have not had a drink now for over 10 years and my life has changed for the better in many ways. I owe it to their unfailing support and wisdom.

I came to see Alistair just over 6 months ago, I had struggled with a cocaine problem for a number of years. I couldnt take it any more and despite my fears I asked for help. My GP recommended Alistair Rhind.
I have been completely clean from all Drugs for over 6 months now and I feel so much happier than I would have believed possible when I was using.

I love being free from Cocaine addiction. I cannot recommend Alistair Rhind's unique approach enough.

Alistair is not just a great therapist and an amazing human being but a wonderful teacher or, as I prefer to describe him, a Guru. When you meet someone like Alistair, change is inevitable. You may not know what form it will take or when it will happen but it will. The hardest thing would be to try to stop it.

I only have one regret in all my time that I’ve known Alistair; not trusting him 100% from the very beginning, but that was my story. Who knows how different yours will be?
